Please join us Wednesday April 26 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern, for our free webinar entitled ‘The Caregiver in the Room: Considerations for Providers Working with Families.’

In this training session, we will examine interpersonal communication skills and strategies for providers collaborating with family caregivers. Additionally, we will examine the core challenge of how to respect the autonomy of the client while also communicating with his or her family caregiver. Specific topics that will be addressed include protecting face, offering support, and providing comfort.

Our presenter for this training is Dr. Leanne Knobloch, Professor and Director of Graduate Study in the Department of Communication at the University of Illinois.

Continuing Education Credit Available!

The OneOp Military Caregiving concentration has applied for 1.0 continuing education credit from The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work for credentialed participants. Certificates of Completion will also be available for training hours as well.
