On Sept. 29 Dr. Rosemarie Allen explored the role of implicit bias through the lens of her expertise in Pre-K and elementary school classrooms during the OneOp Virtual Conference. Her presentation helped attendees working in a variety of contexts to understand the dynamics of implicit bias and its impacts. Dr. Allen also challenged us to reflect on our own unspoken biases.
In this follow up video she shares information on three types of microaggressions and strategies to use when one is a witness to a microaggression or when one has committed a microaggression.
