In 1997, President Clinton signed the first National Family Caregiver Month Presidential Proclamation, and ever since then every president has followed suit, making November National Family Caregiver Month.
Family Caregivers are so important to this nation, and we would like to take this opportunity to show them our appreciation. The goal of our OneOp Military Caregiving concentration is to provide the most current research-based information for service providers and family caregivers as it relates to caring for individuals of wounded service members or military families of children with special healthcare needs.
We focus on an array of issues from traumatic brain injury to autism, and caregiver self-care. Throughout the month of November, we will continue to recognize challenges and issues surrounding this unique audience by highlighting our current resources and sharing additional outreach from other agencies and organizations via social media.
Get started today by checking out the items below to support your families and their loved ones.
