Jessica Lowe received her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics at CSU Chico, Masters in Public Health at UCLA and completed her dietetic internship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Jessica not only has extensive pediatric experience including but not limited to feeding difficulties, g-tube management and special pediatric populations, she is also credentialed in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP). She is continuing her education at Rutgers University and is pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition.
For the past 6 years, Jessica has been the Ketogenic Dietitian at Department of Neurology of Keck School of Medicine of USC and Division of Pediatric Neurology of Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. Our program is the only Los Angeles County Department of Health Services hospital with proven expertise in dietary treatments for epilepsy. Jessica is proud to be part of a team who made nutritional interventions for epilepsy accessible to populations who classically otherwise would not. She continues to be part of the team at USC working to expand our program to serve adults across our expansive medical campuses to ensure dietary access across socioeconomic and cultural divides.
Jessica is actively involved in the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is currently serving as the Co-Chair for the Policy Committee.
