The month of November is military family appreciation month. Though we appreciate our military families throughout the year for their sacrifices and support of our active service members as well as veterans, this month is a special opportunity for OneOp Community Capacity Building to show extra support.
Spouses, children, and loved ones are the pillar that supports our military. During deployments, they take on extra responsibilities to make sure that life run smoothly while service members are away fighting for our nation. They continue to serve alongside our soldiers when they are at home as well, staying up to date with news, policies, and procedures that impact their everyday lives. During trainings, deployments, injuries, discharge or retirement, and the everyday ins and outs of military life, we want these families to know that they are recognized and appreciated for everything that they do.
During this Thanksgiving holiday, there is no better time to show gratitude and appreciation to the incredible families that are serving alongside our service members and veterans. OneOp Community Capacity Building thanks all of the children, parents, siblings, extended family, as well as the communities that feel like family for their sacrifices and dedication!
“There is a special kind of bravery that every military spouse and child cultivate, and for that hard earned, courage, we honor you all.” – Unknown
