The Community Capacity Building concentration area supports family service providers through programs, research, and evaluation in the communities in which military service members reside.
Military service members are husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, colleagues, and friends that live in America’s communities and meet an obligation of service to every American.
Community Capacity Building is a participatory process that involves stakeholders – both military and civilian – in designing or building upon community resources to improve the lives of military service members and their families.
