About This Webinar:

Diabetes management has historically been weight-focused.  However, weight is not a behavior, and positive behavior changes are often a better goal! This webinar explores and introduces the topics of intuitive eating and a weight-neutral approach to diabetes management. It provides practical examples on how to work with individuals with diabetes using a framework that is inclusive of all body sizes.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the risks associated with a weight-centric approach to diabetes management.
  2. Define intuitive eating principles.
  3. Explore how to apply intuitive eating principles when addressing diabetes care and education.
