About This Webinar:

Military REACH bridges the gap between military family research and practice. In this webinar, Dr. Mallory Lucier-Greer (REACH PI) and Dr. Catherine Walker O’Neal (REACH Co-I) describe how their team translates research into practical applications, and ensures that this research is accessible via a publicly available online library. Participants learn how the REACH team critically evaluates and synthesizes research on topics related to family support, resilience, and readiness. This allows military families and helping professionals to gauge the quality of research based on three primary standards: credibility, contribution, and clarity. Participants learn about the products theREACH team provides on their site (https://www.militaryreach.auburn.edu), including brief research summaries and extensive literature reviews, both filled with action-oriented implications to be used by military families, direct service helping professionals, and policy makers.
