About This Webinar:

Children experience the world differently, and those differences can be greater for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Military life comes with its own set of unique challenges, which can impact how children experience the world. The understanding and support of early childhood professionals can strengthen the skills of children with autism and increase the capacity of their families.

In this 90-minute webinar, Tara Wright, Professional Development Manager with Sesame Workshop, shares the Sesame Street and Autism and Sesame Street for Military Families initiatives, along with resources within these initiatives for professionals, young children, and their families.  She also  discusses strategies that help families build resilience and optimism.

This event is hosted by the Family Development-Early Intervention concentration area of OneOp.
