How to Help Military & Veteran Families: For Mental Health Professionals

Join us Monday, April 13 at 2 p.m. EST for How to Help Military and Veteran Families: For Mental Health Professionals, a webinar aimed to assist behavioral and mental health experts better understand the specific needs of military families.
The United States has more than 3.6 million service members, with more than 3.1 million family members directly impacted by military life. Mental health professionals know that military life can present a wide array of challenges that are unique and complicated.
The webinar is part of How to Help Military and Veteran Families, an 11-part publication series created by the Military Family Research Institute in collaboration with the Department of Defense, the Department of Agriculture, and the National Military Family Association. The publications provide a wealth of evidence-based information for those seeking to help veterans, service members and their families, while the webinars aim to expand upon these resources. The series is continuing to grow, with new issues due out in 2015.
