When you or a loved one experiences a serious health condition that requires you to take time off from work you may be eligible for Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Whether you are unable to work because of your own serious health condition, or because you need to care for your parent, spouse, or child with a series health condition, FMLA provides unpaid, job-protected leave. Leave may be taken all at once, or may be taken intermittently as the medical condition requires. This webinar provides an overview of how FMLA may benefit caregivers and identify leave provisions for military families.
Learning objectives:
Introduce the benefits and protections of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
Identify non-military FMLA Leave Provisions
Review Military Family Leave Provisions for Qualifying Exigency and Military Caregiver Leave
