VLE4 | What’s on the Web? Family Violence Resource Toolkit

VLE Session 4: This webinar offers online resources and mobile applications pertinent to professionals working with individuals, children and families experiencing domestic violence.

Presenter Information

Tabitha McCoy, MS earned her Master of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Valdosta State University and is currently the Social Media and Webinar Coordination Specialist for the Family Development concentration of OneOp.

Tabitha held a clinical internship at FamilyWorks Therapy Clinic at Valdosta State University, where she worked with individuals and families who suffered from a diverse range of issues, including family issues related to trauma, family violence, and grief. In addition to offering individual and family therapy she also developed and implemented a children’s divorce group as well as a children’s grief group and served as co-facilitator for the sexual assault support group at FamilyWorks.

Tabitha has also held clinical internship positions at both a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility where she worked directly with inpatient residents throughout their rehabilitation journey, as well as a local elementary school where she worked in collaboration with other mental health professionals offering services to school aged children.

Christina Rackley Herron, MS earned her Master of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Valdosta State University and is currently the Web Design and Blog Specialist for the Family Development concentration of OneOp and a Service Coordinator for Babies Can’t Wait.

Christina held a clinical internship at FamilyWorks Therapy Clinic at Valdosta State University, where she delivered counseling services to clients dealing with a diverse range of issues including: eating disorders, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, trauma, grief, sexual assault, couples and family issues. She was also one of the group facilitators for, Camp Speak, which catered to the relational issues children from divorced families face.

Christina has also held a clinical internship position at a private practice where she worked primarily with active duty/retired military professionals and their families.
