
Jennifer Rea,Ph.D.,
Jenny is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Human Services and Director of the Certificate in Military Families at the University of Arizona. As a faculty member, she helps students become future-focused and career-ready, preparing them to become high-caliber Human Services professionals. Jenny also serves as a Wellness Ambassador, where she plays a key role in promoting workplace wellness and strengthening a culture of well-being at the University of Arizona. Since 2019, Jenny has provided military family service providers with research-based strategies to better assist them in their work with military families. This has been in the form of blog posts, podcasts, and webinars on topics related to resilience and military-related transitions. Jenny holds a Doctorate in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. When she is not teaching her students online, Jenny can be found spending time with her friends and family – her spouse, who is an Active-Duty Marine pilot, and her four children (all under 6 years old), and snuggling her ten-year-old pug, Bandit.
