Rachel Johnson, military spouse
Rachel Johnson is the Yellow Ribbon Regional Outreach Coordinator for Northern Minnesota. Rachel has a Bachelor of Science major in Business Administration and minor in Human Resources from Waldorf College (Iowa) and a Master in Business Administration with an emphasis in Rural Health from the College of Saint Scholastica (Duluth). Her previous work experience is with grant writing, project management and coordination, research and data analysis, legislative and policy making, strategy and development of projects, contracting, and community engagement activities. Rachel and her husband Chris have two adult children and live in rural Minnesota. Rachel is a proud military spouse and enjoys her current work as it supports veterans, currently serving and their families.
In addition, to her career Rachel sits on her town city council and is involved in numerous committees. An initiative she started when elected is a women’s mentorship program Sisters with Sass. The mission of Sisters with Sass is to empower women through work, education and well-being with the vision of women helping women one sister at a time.
