October 20, 2017 @ 12:00 pm CDT
Reintegration after deployment is a familiar term for military service members and their families. The transition process often presents a variety of challenges, including difficulties making readjustments back into life with families, jobs, and within the community. The American Red Cross has created a program to assist in helping to ease the transition called Reconnection Workshops. This podcast will highlight this program while infusing a personal touch from our guest speaker, Amber Meza.
Guest Bio Amber Meza works as an American Red Cross Volunteer Coordinator at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, GA. Amber is no stranger to the military, as she served in the Air Force for 5 years and her husband is currently active duty Air Force.
