In this episode, Dr. Emily Becher, an Applied Researcher and Evaluation Specialist through the University of Minnesota Extension shares all about the topic of coparenting. We conclude by sharing some practical strategies that professionals can use as they help ensure healthy coparenting, particularly for military families.

Guest Bio

Emily Becher, Ph.D. is an Applied Research and Evaluation Specialist at Emily picUniversity of Minnesota Extension in the Center for Family Development. She has a Ph.D. in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota and a Masters of Science in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Rochester Medical School.

Emily uses a wide range of research and evaluation strategies to support the programs and initiatives of Extension, including Ripple Effect Mapping and Social Network Analysis. Emily’s area of interest is in systemic models for reducing risks and increasing protective factors for families, with a special emphasis on coparenting.   https://twitter.com/becheremily
