The OneOp 2022 Military Family Readiness Academy launched back in June of this year. The topic of this year’s MFRA is Family Well-being: Navigating the Social Justice Landscape. Consisting of three asynchronous courses and two-panel discussions with the course authors, this amazing suite of programming highlights lots of great opportunities for participants to look through their social justice lens and to understand the systems of privilege and oppression in our society.
There are also many great wraparound activities like our LinkedIn Group | A Space for Service Providers, a forum to discuss questions and provide comments related to the courses. OneOp also released three podcast episodes featuring the MFRA 2022 course authors in our Practicing Connections podcast series. These episodes are: “Social Justice and Family Well-Being,” “Recognizing and Responding to Inequity,” and “Social Justice and Military Families.” All these great activities are designed to help participants to grow as an individual and to equip themselves with the skills to identify DEI barriers that impact a family’s health and well-being.

Also, there are all our ongoing CE Credit opportunities that OneOp provides for our programming participants including The University of Texas at Austin – Steve Hicks School of Social Work, Certified Family Life Educators (CFLE) via the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR), the Commission for Case Manager Certification, and certificates of attendance to document contact hours.
Problematic Sexual Behavior of Children and Youth (PSB-CY): Clinical Assessment and Treatment course series
Speaking of upcoming OneOp courses, we will be launching our PSB-CY: Clinical Assessment and Treatment Overview Courses on October 13th, 2022! These courses provide professional development for clinically assessing, responding to, and treating problematic sexual behavior of children and youth, specifically when working with military families.
