This interactive, 2-hour course examines the impact of the deployment cycle on family well-being.
Course Details
This course explores the impact of deployment and other service-related absences on family stress and well-being. By completing this course, the service provider will be better equipped to assist military families experiencing service-related absences by offering support, services, and resources.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Explain the impacts of service-related absences on military family members
- Analyze common stressors and coping processes
- Apply research and theoretical models to real-world situations
- Identify protective factors that foster resilience
- Design practical support strategies for families
- Refine supports for military-connected communities
