Guest Bio:
Ashley Mueller is a statewide Extension Educator for Nebraska Extension. Her focus area is disaster education, and in cooperation with campus and county Extension faculty and staff, she helps Nebraskans prepare for and recover from extreme weather and disasters. Ashley serves as Nebraska Extension’s point of contact for the Extension Disaster Education Network (EDEN) and Nebraska Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NE VOAD). She represents Nebraska Extension on UNL’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and NDA’s Homeland Security Team. She is a member of the FEMA Region VII Regional Advisory Council, and she is a ServeNebraska Commissioner. She is involved in a variety of community- and county-based preparedness efforts, and she leads projects in the areas of agriculture, community development, and youth development.
