Elementary School Teacher Giving Female Pupil One To One Support In Classroom

About This Webinar

To support struggling learners and neurodiverse students, it’s critical to understand what to look for, how to assess, and the importance of the ongoing collection of data. Participants will learn current best practices in data collection and interpretation to identify gaps in development. They will gain insights into students who show uneven patterns of comprehension, excelling in some areas while struggling in others. Participants will discover effective strategies to interpret these variations and support the unique learning needs of each student, leading to more informed decisions that enhance educational outcomes for neurodiverse learners.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define and differentiate between adversity and trauma
  • Understand the developmental sequelae of childhood adversity and trauma
  • Understand age-related learning processes and outcomes in the context of adversity and trauma
