PCS Series: Landlord-Tenant Protections for Military Members
March 12, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm EDT
About This Webinar
Moving can be a stressful experience, and military families move as many as three times more often than non-military families. The financial impacts of these frequent moves is just one of the compounding factors that contribute to the stress of relocating.
This 90-minute webinar will cover the basics of renting property in the military, as a landlord and tenant as well as the legal and tax implications of both sides of the rental agreement.
Military Permanent Change-of-Station (PCS) moves can have substantial impacts on military children and families, and it is important for service providers to equip themselves with the latest information to be able to provide education and support.
This is the 2nd webinar in a 3-part series on the issues military families face during a Permanent Change of Station.
