This webinar begins with a discussion of the basics of Long Term Care insurance options, facilitated by Dr. Michael Gutter. Then Mr. Kevin Friel discusses the Pension and Fiduciary Services of his office under the VA Aid & Attendance program, including pension eligibility, survivor benefits, and housebound services.

Dr. Michael Gutter is an associate professor and associate dean for Extension, state program leader for 4H Youth Development, Families, and Communities; Department of Family, Youth and Community Sciences, UF/IFAS Extension.
Kevin J. Friel was appointed as Deputy Director of the Pension and Fiduciary Service on June 24, 2018. The Pension and Fiduciary Service Staff is responsible for the over-site and administering both the pension and fiduciary programs to include the development of policy and procedures, performance of quality reviews, creation of required training, and development of processing system functional requirements.
