It’s no secret that animals have the uncanny ability to lift the spirits of others and turn a bad day into a good one. But, professionals and organizations are starting to recognize that animals can offer so much more than a smile. In this podcast, we will be taking a look at the different ways in which animals are used for helping people. We will talk to two professionals who utilize animals in their mission to help others.
Carol Lansfordis the Executive Director of Valor Service Dogs. She is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a BS in Psychology. She also has a certificate in canine behavioral psychology. After her husband suffered severe injuries in Afghanistan, Carol’s life took her in the direction that eventually led to the creation of Valor Service Dogs.
