Upcoming Webinar

As the holidays approach, it can be a stressful time as you prepare to finalize year-end reports and projects and gear up for time with loved ones. This month we are helping military service providers to prepare for the holidays by building your resilience and “putting fuel back in the tank.”

Join the OneOp Military Caregiving concentration and Lakshmi Mahadevan, Ph.D. on Wednesday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. ET as we explore strategies to help build resilience and take better care of yourself. To join, simply RSVP here.

While we continue to see advances in COVID, the last two years have been nothing but depleting for many. Virtual service delivery, sudden work environment changes, and direct or indirect COVID health concerns, have all exacerbated our need to refuel.

So how do you put some fuel back in the tank? Join us on December 15 and learn how to:

  1. Identify resilience.
  2. Differentiate between sources of stress and proactively plan for coping with the stressor.
  3. Identify the extent to which you would need to refuel prior to, during and after a service delivery experience.
  4. Practice and employ specific self-care techniques that help build resilience, restore depleted resources and effectively “refuel.”

Lakshmi Mahadevan, Ph.D, Associate Professor and Extension Specialist, will be presenting.
