Family Well-Being: Navigating the Social Justice Landscape logo

The 2022 OneOp Military Family Readiness Academy Series is already underway! The 2022 MFRA Series focuses on individuals’ understanding of social justice and equity, including their own understanding of privilege and oppression. The content presented in the three asynchronous courses that make up the 2022 MFRA Series is robust and provides deep-level considerations for clinicians working with families and navigating issues of social justice and equity with their clients.

This year’s series is important for our audience in that it has been designed to equip you with skills to identify barriers that impact a family’s health and well-being and identify opportunities for social justice advocacy in your work. Our courses have been designed to offer engaging modules and interaction, with prompts for reflection.

Our Kickoff Event was live on June 1st, and we hosted a Panel Discussion on June 15th with our course authors for the first and second courses of the series. Our next Panel Discussion will take place on June 29th at 11 am EST and will focus on content from the third asynchronous course in the series with a focus on social justice and military families.

Also, we encourage you to sign up for the Military Family Readiness Academy mailing list to receive updates and additional information about this and future Academy series. The Military Family Readiness Academy is an annual programming series with special learning and engagement opportunities suitable for individuals, groups, and organizations. With a new series added each year, the Academy takes a multidisciplinary approach to complex issues service providers encounter in their work.

All courses and panel discussions are approved for Continuing Education (CE) credits or contact hours for the following accrediting agencies:
