About This Webinar

Whether you are newly diagnosed with breast cancer, on active treatment or years into survivorship, the food you eat can play a powerful role in your health. This session is designed to help breast cancer survivors feel confident in their food choices and understand how nutrition supports healing, recovery, and long-term wellness. This webinar will offer practical tips for building a balanced, plant-forward plate, managing body weight, staying active, and navigating common questions about soy, dietary supplements, and more. Participants will leave with simple, evidence-based strategies that can be implemented right away—no fad diets or food guilt required.

  • Describe the impact of diet and lifestyle on breast cancer recurrence and mortality
  • Identify the key components of a plant-based diet and its benefits in cancer survivorship
  • Address frequently discussed topics for breast cancer survivors including soy foods and dietary supplements
  • Identify lifestyle practices that support healthy cancer survivorship

Presenters

Whitney Warminski, RD, CSO, LD

Whitney Warminski, RD, CSO, LD is a Board-Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition. Whitney has more than 10 years of experience in oncology nutrition where the main focus of her work is to help oncology patients maintain and improve their nutrition status during cancer treatment. She works as a clinical dietitian at BSA Harrington Cancer Center, providing nutrition services to patients before, during and after cancer treatment.
