About this Webinar

This webinar focuses on transgender youth specifically and explores the ways family and community play a role in their development. This is the second of a 2-Part series focusing on inclusive practices in working with LGBT youth and families.

Jenifer McGuire, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Family Social Science at the University of Minnesota.

She studies the well-being of young people who identify as transgender, with a specific focus on ways that family environments can best support healthy development.
