At its most basic level, cancer is an abnormal growth of human cells. Cancer development is associated with several factors: family history and genetics as well as lifestyle factors such as smoking, alcohol overuse, diet and weight, and environmental exposure, like sun tanning.
When it comes to cancer, genes may play a significant role. The contributions made by genes on our cancer fate manifests through a unique phenomenon: mutations.
With the recent changes our world has seen, connecting with others via technology has become much more prevalent. Whether it be for work purposes or connecting with friends and family over social media, staying home and connecting through our devices has become the new norm.
