This 90-minute panel will discuss how service providers across the Military Family Readiness System can support the well-being of military-connected youth. This panel will introduce the impacts and supports for adolescents in military-connected families.
Experts will discuss youth well-being and the role of service providers in promoting positive youth development. Conversation will focus on adolescents in active-duty military families ages 12-18. Discussion will include using multi-pronged systems of support across the Defense Department’s Military Family Readiness System and strengths-based approaches to bolster youth well-being.

This event sets the stage for a series of three interrelated webinars (scheduled for August 27, September 10, and September 24) which will focus on the following topics: 1) The impact of military life on adolescents, 2) Positive outcomes through youth development programs, and 3) The role of protective factors across the MFRS domains of well-being.
